Railways TENtec technical parameters (WFS service)

Web Feature Service that includes the essential parameters, based on the TENT-T standards for railways available in the HERMES database.

Currently includes the next KPIs:

  • ETCS_Status
  • Track gauge (mm)
  • Traction
  • Number of tracks
  • GSM-R status

(*)The data contained in this service are upload on the HERMES-GIS platform and come from differents source organizations.

Lineage statement

Service published by the General Subdirectorate of Planning, Trans-European Network and Logistics of of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MITMSO) that allows consult the railway's KPIs contained in the HERMES-GIS platform.
The different parameters have been provided by Adif and have been unified into a single dataset to be displayed in one layer of information.

Purpose Unify the different railway's parameters requested by TEN-T into a single layer of information. This service has been published within the HERMES-GIS environment.
Process steps
  1. Solicitud de información a los distintos organismos responsables de la información.
  2. Unificación y homogeneización de la información recibida para su carga en la base de datos de la plataforma HERMES-GIS.
  3. Generación del conjunto de datos con los parámetros de los KPI por modo de transporte.
  4. Asignación de simbología.
  5. Publicación de servicios cartográficos.
